Spring 2026 Schedule

March 3: Week 1 - No Props, No Costumes

You can choose any song you like! For the first week, we do not allow props or costumes, come as yourself.

March 10: Week 2 - Battle of the Genres

All 3 of your group's songs must be in the same genre (musical, country, alt, rap, hair metal, emo, yacht rock, pop, etc.)

March 17: Week 3 - Secret Goal

Each team is given five secret goals. Each round, performers must choose one of those goals to do during their song. The goal won’t be revealed until the end of the act.

March 24: Week 4 - Birds and the Bees

Birds and bees aren't the only ones getting busy in the spring. Sing about young love, flowering romance, and getting down and dirty.

March 31: Week 5 - Pick a Theme

The team gets to choose what theme they want to do this week! All three performances must fit within this theme.

April 7: Bye Week - CCKL Takes a Week Off

April 14: Week 6 - Bring a Friend

In each round, you get to bring up one person who’s not on your team to perform on stage with you. Bring your mom, your bestie, a local celebrity, you get to choose!

April 21: Week 7 - Product Placement

Your song is all one big promotion for the product of your choosing. You could promote a Toyota Tundra, your own personal brand of toothpaste, the world’s first time machine, whatever you want!

April 28: Week 8 - Supermarket Sweep

Each team will bring 5-10 props and costume pieces. Each performer will have 2 minutes to run into a room with all of these props and costumes and grab items that they MUST use/wear in their performance. You are permitted no other props and costumes this week.

May 5: Semi-Finals

All except the top two teams will compete to advance to finals. We’ll also award soloist prizes and the top two teams will perform one exhibition song.

May 12: Semi-Finals

The top four teams will compete to win the league! The two teams that don’t make it to the finals will still perform one exhibition song.
